August- Hudson's 4th Birthday

August has gone by so quickly. Here are a few pics of what we've been up to besides the everyday grid. I did have a chance to clear out some stuff in the kids closet and was organizing and taking stock on what the kids needed for Fall and Winter. The kids helped to. They wanted me to send them to Grandma and Grandpa's. It was tempting. I wonder how much postage would be.....

As long as they had their blankies and bottles they were good to be shipped.

Hudson turned 4 on August 12th. We had a Birthday party for her. Here's her Princess Cake. Of course.

It's melting here. It was so Hot that day.

We surprised her with a NEW Princess Car. She did not know how to react at first.

But it took no time to get behind the wheel and start driving and giving rides.

Notice it didn't take Hogan long either to figure it out.

And there off. Hudson was a pretty good driver and was so kind and gave everyone a ride around the park.

Here's Hogan with Papa Rick. All Hogan wants is to be hangin with him when he's around. Grandpa can't get enough either. They are so funny.

Hogan tuckered out. He has had enough of the party and was ready to go home to bed.

The kids have been getting into more mischief together lately. They been hiding in Hogan's dresser lately and they think it's so funny. I actually can't believe they both fit in there together.

But, here's the topper of the month. After Hogan was done napping last Saturday he was hollering for his mom to get him out. I was in the middle of something and asked Hudson to go in and give him a toy and play with him for a minute so I could get 5 more minutes to finish up my chores. I could hear them giggling and just thought she was playing with him. Little did I know when I made it to his room to get him out of his crib I would find this. Hudson had covered him with baby powder. I didn't even know how to react. I was funny but I couldn't let Hudson know.

I didn't want Hudson to think this was "OK". But I did get some pics. Oh my, these 2 have just begun to start trouble. I can only imagine what's next. Hogan didn't even care that he was covered.

Me and my Boy. He's getting so big.

God Bless America

My favorite pic of the moment.

This 4th of July was so much fun and Hudson got to show off her "Pledge of allegiance" skills numerous times. We had a great time with family and friends. The kids enjoyed being spoiled by Grandma's and Grandpa's, tractor rides, 4 wheeler rides, fireworks, the cabin, and playing with cousins. They were exhausted when we got home and so I'm I But it was so fun.

Here's Hudson doing the pledge and a panoramic of all of us at the fireworks.

Seth holding the imaginary flag for us and Hudson leading us again in the Pledge.

Hogan learning to work the Farm with Grandpa already. I don't know who liked it best. Hogan or Grandpa.

Hudson and Seth playing before the fireworks.
Seth, Hudson, Justiel, Hogan- Having fun

Andy and Hogan.

This is at the Cabin and all I wanted was to get a Family pic of us 4. But the kids were just not in the mood at this point. Oh well.

Hudson and Grandpa at the Cabin.

Hogan loved the 4 wheeler. He would have such a fit if we took him off. So we let him hang out on it.

OHHH, Sparklers, Always a favorite.

Hogan's new Haircut, Hudson Graduates Preschool, and the Water Park

Hogan got his haircut last week. It's almost a buzz. I wanted to do a buzz but Andy said no way so I went as short as I could. He looks like such a little boy and not a baby anymore.

Hudson Graduated from Preschool on Thursday from Miss Angela's Class. She loved it. Miss Angela is so great too. She learned so much. She can even spell and write her name. She even does the pledge of allegiance very well. I need to post that soon.

Daddy came for the celebration too. Below is a Preschool video that her teacher made with pictures from the school year of all the kids and also each child says a little clip about what they love about there mom and dad. Hudson is priceless in her response about her mom. You gotta a watch it. I was extremely proud of her.

She is also getting so grown up. She'll be 4 in August and she is already so tall. Every one thinks she's already in kindergarten. Still one more year. She won't start until Fall 2010 and she'll still be one of the youngest one's.

Hogan got the real deal at the water park today and totally got to participate. He was very brave at first to go out onto the water mats when no water was spraying up but when it came the first couple of times it scared him a bit and he would run like mad back to me. But after a few rounds he got the hang of it. He wasn't completely sold this time but I can only imagine what next time will be like. I won't be able to get him out of the water.

Hogan being very brave his first run out. Look no water yet.

Hogan going for the water not knowing how cold it is yet and that it going to get him soon from another sprayer.

Now running like mad back to me. It was so funny. But I think he's getting the hang of it.

One of his other favorite things at the park is the rocking car above and the slide below. It was so fun to see him go for the slide and things by himself this time. He had a full-on breakdown when we had to go. He hit the ground on his stomach, head down, cried, kicked, and did the arch back when I tried to pick him up to go. Guess he really liked it.

video
Hogan on the slide all by himself. Check out what a chunk my little guy is. Love it. He had so much fun today and so did I.

Yes, I will be telling myself I'm the best for a while.

Motorcross

Ok, I am really not into this kind of stuff but it was really fun to have a night out with no kids. Thanks to Jeff and Tracy we got to hang out and go to dinner at Ruth Chris Steak House, YUM, and The race. It was awesome. We had great seats and got lots of dirt in our face. Still so much fun. Check out the video with the crazy 4 back flips in a row. LOCO and lots of crazy people attending too. Great people watching if you weren't watching the race.

Easter Bunny is trupmed by 4 Wheeler rides this year in Utah.

The Easter bunny left a few Eggs for the kids....

But Grandpa Rick got out the 4 Wheeler and gave rides all afternoon. Hogan loved it and did not want to get off even though it was so cold.

This is Corinne, Hudson's cousin. We got to see the Hawkins Family at Grandpa Floyds funeral. IT was great to see the whole family.

Edible Arrangements and Antonia

Antonia is awesome. I am so thankful my kids love her so much and she loves them so much. Thanks Antonia. I really don't know what I would do with out her.

I got this yummy edible arrangement from a client and it was so good. And so cute. I had to share. And again it was so yummy.

That's a chocolate pineapple shaped bunny.

Easter Egg Hunt at Rio Secco Golf Club

Every year the Golf club does a great Easter Egg Hunt and activities for the kids. It's so fun. This year Hudson really got into it.
